Laura Williams

Laura’s background is Travel Consultancy and together with her husband Lloyd, who is a member of the choir, she has organised several successful concert tours for the choir. These tours have included Israel, Canada, USA, Slovenia and Brittany.

Vice President

John N. Williams

A native of Trelogan, Flintshire, John attended Holywell Grammar School. He received a B.Sc. (Chemistry) degree from Swansea University, and he taught at Mold and later, until retirement, at John Bright School, Llandudno. John is married to Maureen, also a retired school teacher and they have two daughters.
John joined the Maelgwn Choir in 1974 and since 1980 has been its Treasurer.

Vice President

Trystan Lewis

Trystan is a graduate of the Universities of Wales Aberystwyth and Liverpool.
He joined the choir at the age of 16 years and became its Musical Director in 2001 a position he held until his resignation in 2015. During his time as its Musical Director the Choir won twice at the National Eisteddfod of Wales, the annual North Wales Choral Festival and has been a finalist of the BBC Choir Competition.
He is married to Llinos and they have three children.
